This triangle might be a lot more tolerable if the two dudes weren’t brothers. Like if it was just a “good vamp” and a “bad vamp” that she had to choose from but the fact that they are brothers just makes it so much more fucked up and wrong in every sense of the way.
And that’s the reason why I will never accept DE no matter what argument you have, it’s absolutely disgusting that Damon will go after his brother’s girl.

But can we just appreciate him once more? He once again would be willing to give up his freedom, his sanity, in order to save Damon’s life again. After all that hell that he went through in season 3, he’d be willing to go through it again if it meant his brother would get to live. When have we ever seen Damon willing to do something like that for Stefan? The answer is never. And yet Stefan still continues to make sure Damon is okay, even after everything Damon has done to him. Stripped Stefan completely of his happiness but Stefan is still more than willing to give up everything so Damon can live and be happy. So all you Damon stans who hate Stefan need to back the fuck up because Damon would have been dead a long time ago if it wasn’t for Stefan. Appreciate him and love him damn it!
